On The Doorstep of Maes Mynan Holiday Park
North Wales has so much to offer holiday home owners
Maes Mynan Park is a great holiday location, especially as it’s easy to get to, despite being off the beaten track and still a hidden gem.
As Caerwys and Afonwen are in such close proximity to Maes Mynan Park, we are working with local independent businesses to offer our customers a range of amenities and services on the doorstep. This includes sourcing artisan produce, groceries, butchery, transfer services, pamper sessions, food delivery, take-away food and we even have a doggy groomer with their wash and dry service to keep happy dogs clean, regardless of the weather! And if you seek adventure and you would like your very own activities guide, that is available too.
North Wales is full of surprises and has always offered visitors plenty of opportunity to discover and explore cultural, historic, towns, castles, walks and forests, as well as beautiful rugged, rustic and natural landscapes, be it mountains, hills, valleys, rock-faces, rivers, streams, woodland, islands, sea, beaches or sand dunes.
Here are some snippets to entice you over to see us.
JakJam Artisan Wood Products
Adam Evans of JakJam, lives locally and trained as a tree surgeon. He has always loved and respected woodlands, the beauty of trees and all types of timber.
His bond with the natural environment translates into the care he takes in creating each unique piece he fells, carves, sands and makes. He is an artisan woodworker in his creativity.
More recently he has introduced steel into his bespoke pieces of furniture, enjoying the way hard cold surfaces combine with the natural softness of wood textures, uniting the industrial and rustic overtone in one piece.
JakJam is all about offering a flexible approach to commissions to reflect the uniqueness of every piece of timber worked.
Adam’s passion combines every element of a project in all of his pieces, starting with the felling process (or the discovery of a wind fallen tree), before planking, treating, honing, sanding and carving the ultimate final piece , be it a piece of furniture, serving platter, bowl, candlestick or outdoor seat – all are unique and beautifully tactile to the touch.
Here are some ideas for your unique artisan piece from JakJam for your holiday home at Maes Mynan Park:-
